Sasebo, Japan.
2 pieces
Sasebo is a naval port on a coast of small islands, with a bay that breaks into more inlets than anyone has bothered to count. Hills close behind the town, a burger that the city has made its own since the fleet arrived, and a sea that is calm and scattered with green. The colour is harbour grey, island green and blue. A pearl farm works in the calm water between the islands offshore. The pieces here come as prints, ornaments and more.
