Ljubljana is small, green and arranged around a river with a castle on the hill above. Bridges with dragons on them, baroque and art nouveau fronts in ochre and pale green, willows over the water, and mountains close enough to reach before lunch. Cars were pushed out of the centre so it is quiet in a way capitals rarely are. The dragon on the bridge is the city's emblem and turns up everywhere. The work here comes as prints, ornaments, coasters and the rest.
