Hallstatt is a village squeezed between a lake and a cliff, with houses on ledges and a church spire at the water's edge. Salt was mined in the mountain above it for thousands of years, which is why anyone built there at all. Mist sits on the lake in the mornings and the reflection doubles the whole thing. There is barely room for a road, so the lake does the travelling. The work here comes as prints, ornaments and the things that suit a winter.
