Bled is a lake with an island in the middle of it, a church on the island, and a castle on a cliff above the shore. Alps standing behind, water that goes emerald in summer, a path right round the edge, and mist on it in the early morning. It is almost too neat to be real. Wooden boats are rowed standing up, and only certain families may row them. A cream cake made here is a protected recipe and is everywhere. The bell in the island church is rung by pulling a rope, for luck. The pieces here come as prints, ornaments and more.
