Kotor sits at the end of a bay so enclosed it feels like a fjord, with a walled town at the foot of a mountain and fortifications climbing the rock behind it. Stone lanes, cats everywhere, red roofs against grey cliff, and water that reflects the whole thing on a still morning. The climb to the fortress is over a thousand steps and worth every one. An island church offshore was built on a reef of stones dropped by sailors. The bay is a drowned river canyon rather than a true fjord. The pieces here come as prints, ornaments and more.
