Mostar is a single arched stone bridge over a very green river with an ottoman quarter of cobbles and copper on both banks. Minarets, tiled roofs, mountains close behind, and young men who jump from the parapet in summer. The colour is pale stone, that river green and red tile. The bridge was destroyed and rebuilt with stone from the same quarry. Coppersmiths still work in the lane leading up to it. The pieces here come as prints, ornaments and more.
