Corfu is venetian fronts in ochre and rose with shuttered windows, two fortresses on rock at either end of the old town, and cricket played on the esplanade because of who was there. Cypress and olive on the hills, and water very clear round the coast. Steep streets of tall houses were built by Venetians who wanted shade. Olive groves cover the interior and some of the trees are centuries old. The pieces here come as prints, ornaments and more.
