Sao Miguel is a green Atlantic island of craters holding lakes, hot springs and hedgerows of hydrangea that flower blue along every road in summer. Black volcanic stone in the town buildings, tea grown on the slopes, and cloud that arrives and clears several times a day. The colour is that green and hydrangea blue. A stew is cooked in the ground by volcanic heat and dug up at lunchtime. Pineapples are grown in glasshouses and take two years each. Two lakes in one crater are said to be different colours for a reason involving a shepherd. The pieces here come as prints, ornaments and more.
