Santa Fe, New Mexico.

13 pieces

Santa Fe is adobe by law and better for it. Rounded earth coloured walls, turquoise doors and window frames, chillies hung to dry by the entrance, and mountains changing colour through the evening from gold to rose to a deep blue. It sits high, so the light is thin and hard and the nights are cold. It sits higher than any other state capital in the country. The work here runs terracotta and turquoise and comes as prints, ornaments and more.
