Tucson is saguaro country, a desert city ringed by bare mountains that turn violet at dusk. Adobe in the old barrio painted in strong colours, a white mission church out on the flats, monsoon storms in late summer that arrive with real theatre, and a sky dark enough at night that observatories sit on the peaks. The colour is terracotta, cactus green and violet. Saguaro take a century to grow their first arm, so every one is old. The pieces here come as prints, ornaments and the rest.
