Lille, France.
1 pieces
Lille is Flemish in its bones, with a grand square of ochre and gilt, a stock exchange built around a courtyard, and brick and stone fronts with stepped gables. It sits close enough to the border that the beer, the chips and the carbonade all lean north. A flea market takes over the entire city one weekend a year. The colour is brick red, gold and grey sky. The metro here was among the first anywhere to run without drivers. The pieces here come as prints, ornaments and more.
