Kiyomizu Dera, Japan.

4 pieces

Kiyomizu dera is a temple on a hillside with a wooden stage built out on tall pillars over the slope, put together without nails. Maples fill the valley below and go scarlet in autumn, a pagoda stands in vermilion among them, and there is a view back across the city from the rail. Water falls in three streams below the stage and each is said to grant something different. The approach is a lane of shops selling sweets and pottery. The pieces here come as prints, ornaments and more.
