Amber Fort is yellow sandstone and marble on a ridge above a lake, with walls running off along the hills around it. Courtyards inside, a hall inlaid with mirror that lights up from a single flame, and a zigzag ramp climbing the slope to the gate. The colour is that honey stone against dry hills. Elephants once carried people up the ramp and the steps remain. A stepwell nearby descends in symmetrical flights to the water. The pieces here come as prints, ornaments and more.
