Vuntut National Park

1 pieces

Vuntut is arctic tundra in the far north with no roads and no trails, a plain of thousands of small lakes left by ice, and a caribou herd that crosses it twice a year in numbers that are hard to comprehend. Permafrost holds fossils of animals that lived there when it was grassland. The colour is tundra gold, lake silver and low light. The name means among the lakes in the language of the people who have always been there. The pieces here come as prints, ornaments and more.
