Anchorage sits on an inlet with mountains behind it and more mountains across the water. Moose walk through neighbourhoods without much comment, floatplanes take off from a lake in the middle of town, and the light does something strange at both ends of the year, barely leaving in summer and barely arriving in winter. The colour is blue, white and dark spruce green. A sled dog race starts on the main street each March. The pieces here come as prints, ornaments and the rest.
