Tromso sits well above the Arctic circle on an island between mountains. Wooden houses painted against the dark, a bridge to a church of white concrete triangles on the far shore, and a sky that does the aurora on a clear winter night. The sun does not rise for weeks, then does not set for weeks. That extreme is the subject. The pieces here run to deep blue and green rather than anything warm, and come as prints, ornaments and the things that belong to a long winter.
