Rovaniemi sits on the Arctic circle where the rivers meet, and it leans into winter completely. Snow on the pines until it is deep enough to bend them, reindeer, a sun that does not clear the horizon for weeks, and aurora when the sky is clear. The colour is blue snow, dark spruce and green light. The town was rebuilt after the war to a plan shaped like a reindeer's head. The pieces here come as prints, ornaments and December things.
