Tabriz, Iran.
1 pieces
Tabriz is an old caravan city with a covered bazaar that is one of the largest and oldest in the world, a maze of brick vaults running for miles. A blue mosque with tilework in cobalt, mountains behind the town, and a valley of coloured rock villages carved into cones not far away. Carpets from here are known everywhere. The bazaar has been trading continuously for over a thousand years. The city sits near a mountain that is one of the highest in the country and keeps snow on it well into summer. The pieces here come as prints, ornaments and more.
The ones people hang most.
