Syracuse, New York.
1 pieces
Syracuse sits at the end of a long finger lake with salt springs that made the town before the canal did. Brick and limestone downtown, a university on the hill above, lake effect snow that arrives in quantities other cities would declare an emergency over, and autumn colour through the surrounding hills. Salt from the springs was shipped across the country and gave the city its nickname. A sculpture of a bear reaching for a lamp post marks where the old salt works stood, and nobody agrees why. The pieces here come as prints, ornaments and more.
The ones people hang most.
