Sibiu, Romania.
1 pieces
Sibiu is a Saxon town of ochre and rose fronts with small eyelid windows set into the roofs, so the houses appear to be watching the square. Two linked squares at the centre, a bridge that is said to creak if you lie standing on it, fortified walls and towers, and the Carpathians rising not far to the south. The colour is those painted fronts and red tile. It was a European capital of culture and used the money to restore the whole centre. The pieces here come as prints, ornaments and more.
