Bucharest is a collision and it is more interesting for it. French style villas with balconies and stucco, concrete blocks from another era in between them, an enormous parliament building that is hard to take in, and small painted churches tucked behind all of it. The colour runs ochre, dust and faded green. Wide boulevards were cut through the old city in the last century and the seams still show. The pieces here take the old fronts and the churches and put them on a wall or a tree.
