Schweinfurt is a Franconian town on the Main with a market square of timber framed houses and a rathaus in renaissance stone. Vineyards on the slopes around, a riverside path, and a history of ball bearing manufacture that made it more important than its size suggests. Wine is drunk here from a distinctive flat round bottle. The town was rebuilt after heavy bombing and the old square was put back as it was. The pieces here come as prints, ornaments and more.
