Reykjavik is small, bright and surrounded by nothing. Coloured tin houses in red, blue and yellow against black rock, a church like a basalt column on the hill above them, and sea on three sides going steel grey. In winter the sun barely clears the roofs and the light is sideways all day; in summer it never really goes. That is what the pieces here lean on: strong colour on a dark ground rather than anything soft. It comes as a print, an ornament, a coaster and more.
