Positano is a town poured down a ravine to a small beach, with houses in apricot, rose and cream stacked on top of each other. A dome of coloured tile at the bottom, bougainvillea on every terrace, steps instead of roads for most of it, and the sea very blue below. Linen is made here and hung outside the shops in the sun. The beach is pebble rather than sand and the water is deep close in. The pieces here come as prints, ornaments and more.
