Maldives
9 pieces
The Maldives is a scatter of low coral islands with water in more shades of blue and green than seems reasonable. Sand so fine it squeaks, reefs dropping away into deep water a few strokes from the beach, palms leaning over the edge, and almost no elevation anywhere. The colour is the whole point. A whole island can be walked round in less time than it takes to have lunch. Bioluminescence lights the shoreline on some nights like scattered blue sparks. The country is the lowest lying on earth and knows what that means. The pieces here come as prints, ornaments and more.
The same place, on a plate.
Every design here also comes as a plate, a mug, a print and a snow globe.
The ones people hang most.
