Dhaka is dense, busy and built on a delta. Rickshaws painted in extraordinary detail, a pink palace on the riverbank, mughal fort walls, and boats crossing a river that is a road in its own right. The colour comes from the rickshaws and the cloth. Muslin woven here was once so fine it was traded across the world.
