Chefchaouen is painted blue, the whole town, walls and steps and doorways, set on a slope in the Rif mountains. The blue changes from powder to indigo depending on when it was last done, cats sit on every stair, and the mountains stand brown and dry immediately behind. The colour is the entire subject. Goat cheese from the surrounding hills is sold in the square. Waterfalls at the edge of town are where everyone goes when the heat arrives. The pieces here come as prints, ornaments and more.
