Billings sits under sandstone cliffs on a bend of the Yellowstone with plains running east and mountains standing on the western horizon. A rimrock ridge above the town, big sky that earns the phrase, and cottonwoods along the water. The colour is sandstone, prairie gold and distant blue. A scenic loop climbs the rims for a view over the whole valley. Pictographs in caves at the edge of town were painted a very long time ago. The pieces here come as prints, ornaments and more.
