Antalya is a harbour town below cliffs on a bay, with a walled old quarter of ottoman houses and a fluted minaret in red brick standing over it. Waterfalls drop straight into the sea along the coast, ruins of greek and roman cities sit in the fields inland, and the Taurus mountains stand behind with snow on them into spring.
