Zermatt sits at the end of a valley below a mountain so distinctive it is used as a trademark. No cars in the village, dark timber chalets with stone roofs, glaciers hanging above the treeline, and that pyramid of rock standing alone at the head of the valley. The colour is timber brown, snow and grey rock. Electric carts do the work that cars do everywhere else. A cemetery in the village holds climbers who did not come back from that peak. The highest cable station in Europe is above the town. The pieces here come as prints, ornaments and winter things.
