Nairobi has a national park on its doorstep, so giraffes really do stand against the skyline. The city itself is towers and jacaranda and red dust at the edges, sitting high enough that the evenings turn cool however hot the day was. Green is the surprise: it rains more than people expect and the place stays lush. The work here takes that contrast, a modern skyline with the plain behind it, and comes as prints, ornaments and the smaller things.
