Mallorca is a limestone mountain range along one coast and quieter country behind it. Terraced olives on dry stone walls, a gothic cathedral standing over the harbour in the capital, coves cut into the rock with water that goes jade, and almond blossom across the interior in February. The colour is pale stone and that water. A train of wooden carriages still runs through the mountains to the coast. A monastery in the mountains had Chopin as a winter guest. Ensaimada pastries are carried home in enormous octagonal boxes. The pieces here come as prints, ornaments and more.
