Haleakala National Park
1 pieces
Haleakala is a volcanic crater at the top of a long road of switchbacks, big enough to hold a small city, with cinder cones on the floor in rust, ochre and black. People drive up in the dark to watch the sun come up over the rim above the clouds. A rare silversword plant grows there and nowhere else on earth. The name means house of the sun, which is not an exaggeration up there. The pieces here come as prints, ornaments and more.
