Honolulu is a city with a volcano at one end of the beach. Diamond Head standing over Waikiki, surf breaking a long way out, green ridges behind the town going almost vertical, and rain that arrives and leaves within the hour. The colour is saturated in a way almost nowhere else here is, so the work runs bright rather than washed. There are rainbows most days for the same reason, which sounds like an exaggeration until you have been. The Honolulu pieces come as prints, ornaments, coasters and the smaller things.
