Fortaleza is a northeastern beach city with a long seafront of high buildings and a fish market at the end where boats come up the sand. Dunes and lagoons run for hundreds of miles along the coast either side, lace is made in the villages, and the wind blows steadily enough to make it a kite surfing capital. The colour is dune white, sea green and bright cloth. Jangada rafts with triangular sails still fish off the beaches. The pieces here come as prints, ornaments and more.
