The Everglades is a river so wide and so shallow that it looks like grassland, moving south at a pace you cannot see. Sawgrass to the horizon, hammocks of hardwood standing slightly higher, mangrove where the fresh water meets the salt, and alligators lying on the banks in numbers that stop being remarkable after an hour. Herons, spoonbills and anhingas work the shallows. The colour is sawgrass gold, water silver and mangrove green. The pieces here come as prints, ornaments and more.
