Chichen Itza is a stepped pyramid standing on cleared ground with jungle pressing in at the edges. Carved serpents down the balustrades, a ball court with walls that carry sound the length of them, and a sinkhole of green water nearby. The stone is pale grey and the green behind it is relentless. On two days a year the shadow on the steps forms a serpent going down them. Clap in front of the pyramid and the echo comes back as a bird call. It was a city of tens of thousands before it was abandoned. The pieces here come as prints, ornaments and more.
