Cartagena is a walled city on the Caribbean painted in every colour anyone had. Balconies loaded with bougainvillea, heavy wooden doors with iron knockers, a fortress guarding the approach, and heat that sits on the place all day and eases only after dark. The colour is the subject: yellow, blue, coral and white, all of it against deep green. The walls took two centuries to finish and were worth it. Fruit sellers in white ruffled dresses carry bowls on their heads. A clock tower gate is the way into the walled town and the meeting point. The pieces here come as prints, ornaments and more.
