Banff is limestone peaks standing over lakes that are turquoise because of rock flour in the melt. Pine and spruce on the slopes, glaciers at the head of the valleys, elk on the roadside, and a small town of timber and stone in the middle of it. The colour is that impossible lake blue against grey rock. Hot springs in the mountain are the reason the park exists at all. It was the country's first national park and the railway built it. Gondolas run up the mountain for a view along the whole valley. The pieces here come as prints, ornaments and more.
