Aberdeen is built almost entirely of granite that sparkles when the light catches the mica in it, which is why it is called the silver city. A harbour working the North Sea, a beach along the front, roses planted in quantity through the parks, and weather off the water that can do four seasons before lunch. The granite quarried here was shipped out to build bridges and parliaments elsewhere. Ships still come in from the oil fields and the harbour runs through the night, which keeps the city awake with it. The pieces here come as prints, ornaments and more.
