Long Beach is a working port of container cranes beside a waterfront of sand and palms, with an ocean liner permanently moored at one end and used as a hotel. Oil islands offshore are disguised as apartment blocks, murals cover whole walls in the older districts, and the light in the afternoon is that soft gold the whole coast gets. The liner moored here crossed the Atlantic hundreds of times before it retired. The pieces here come as prints, ornaments and more.
